MAWIS EM by remote access
The “MAWIS EM” software can also be used by remote access from terminal servers such as the Microsoft Terminal Server or Citrix via a data transmission line.
The advantage of this type of application is that the MAWIS software is only installed and maintained on a central server and other sites (branches and technical offices) with no local installation of MAWIS can have access to the full functionality of MAWIS EM to work with.
In this way it is possible to centralize software maintenance and data back-up within a company or an association of local authorities.
External users who are to be authorized for access to a few selected functions only or who need access primarily for information are provided with the right solution or a useful complement to the client-server and remote access system: MAWIS-online.
