MSS-505/MSS-515 Slope Sensor
- Special for aerial work platforms
The MOBA MSS-505/MSS-515 mobile slope sensor is especially conceptualised for slope monitoring on aerial work platforms.
One distinctive feature of this technology:
the sensor operates without a mercury switch and already meets the requirements of the Regulation EC No. 2210/2008 today.
Special features:
- 1-axis-sensor
- Operates with two completely independent (and redundant) channels
- Compact, flat design (80 x 70 x 32 mm) for simple attachment to the machine
- Rugged design with approved sealing, for mobile use
- Optimised for immunity to vibration and acceleration
- Quick measurements – optimal automatic levelling
- Isolation complies with DIN/VDE standard 0682-742
- Does not contain mercury, complies with the requirements of the Regulation EC No. 2210/2008
- Zero point adjustment via infrared interface with remote control unit
- Protection class IP67
Simple zero point calibration
The zero point for both sensor types can be recalibrated within an absolute angle range of ± 2° by the IRC-100 infrared remote control unit.
Thus attachment of the sensor in a calibrated zero position is not absolutely necessary.
Calibration is performed within two minutes after starting up the sensor with the user-friendly, one-button remote control unit.
Standard batteries are used to power the IRC-100.
Its transmission range is 20 cm.
