Weighing sensors
Load cells consist of a cylindrical or cuboid- shaped metal body to which one or several resistance strain gauges are applied.
In a wheatstone bridge the signals are processed.
Usually several load cells are used in parallel and provide their signals to an evaluation electronics.
Typical embodiments are:
- Bending beam
- Double bending beam
- Shear beam
Sensor signal resolutions provided are 0,8mV/V or 2mV/V respectively.
Special features:
In particular in the agricultural domain MOBAs load cells and electronics are used in different applications like on mobile feed mixers.
