Sensors

All the sensors used by MOBA are fitted with a CANBus interface as described in ISO 11898 and a transfer protocol specifically tailored for construction applications or communal vehicles is available.
Eight or 16-bit micro controllers with integrated flash memory and CAN-interface are used for signal conditioning.
The following functions are integrated into the signal evaluation software:

Laser receiver LS-3000

The LS-3000 laser receiver is a highly precise sensor for grade measurement.

Material control

For the material flow on an paver a lot of MOBA sensors and controllers are on the shelf.
The MOBA-Sonics can be used as well for the control of the conveyer as for the auger. more

Rotary sensors

The Digi-Rotary sensor is still the most accurate sensor. But there are disadvantages to the mechanical parts; wear on the rotation shaft bearings and the sensing ski gets sticky, etc.. more

Slope sensors

For more than 25 years MOBA has developed high-end slope sensors for extreme applications. Controlling motor grader blades at a speed of 10 km/h at a constant slope is only one application where MOBA gathered know-how and a high reputation. more
